Taiwan ICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program
- Applicants must complete the online application between the end of December and mid-March each year. (Please note that each applicant can only apply for one program at a time.)
- Applicants should complete the TaiwanICDF Scholarship Online Application, then submit the documents to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office in your country. Applicants must ensure to submit accurate and complete documentation in time; failure to do so or lateness will result in the application not being processed.
- ICDF Applicants must also complete the NKUHT Admission Online Application to be eligible for the ICDF Scholarship consideration.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Taiwan Scholarship
- Applicants must complete the online application between February 1 and March 31 each year. (Scholarship will last for two years for Master's/PhD's program)
- Financial assistance: Degree program: NT$33,000/month. (* Note: Recipients are responsible for all expenses during their stay in Taiwan. MOFA will, in principle, not provide any other subsidies. However, MOFA will provide recipients with one-way, economy-class plane tickets for direct flights to and from Taiwan)

The Ministry of Education (MOE) Taiwan Scholarship
- Applicants must complete the online application between September 1 and ends on August 31 of the following year
- Financial assistance: provides tuition and miscellaneous expenses of up to NTD 40,000 each semester and a monthly living allowance of NT$15,000 for Bachelor Degree Program or NT$20,000 for Master/Doctoral Degree Program.
- Scholarship applications must be submitted to a Republic of China (ROC) overseas mission and applicants must apply separately to a university or college in Taiwan for admission.

Scholarships for new foreign students with great performance
Scholarship types
Scholarship opportunities for new students and second year students onward.
1st year Master Scholarship will cover:
- Tuition, miscellaneous fees and credit fees waived
- Tuition and miscellaneous fees waived
- Teaching Assistantship
2nd year Master Scholarship will provide NT$20,000 to NT$30,000 depend on the ranking
Documents and requirements
If new students intend to apply for our scholarship, please submit the following documents when applying for NKUHT admission:
- Scholarship Application Form
- Full Academic Transcript (one with class ranking is preferred)
From the Second Year, student who is enrolled for the new semester intend to apply for our scholarship, please submit the following documents before the commencement of each semester: Transcript of the previous two semesters
For master and Ph.D. program, the scholarship holder shall meet three criteria: (1) the academic average above 85; (2) the conduct grade above 80; (3) the student’s rank shall be in the top 50% of class ranking.
Terms & condition
A scholarship holder, during the effect of the scholarship, may be arranged to provide voluntary services on campus by International Affairs Office.
